Water proofing sleeves available
The TG-51 protocol requires the use of 1 mm PMMA sleeves for Farmer type chambers. We stock kits for this purpose.

The Task Group 51 "Protocol for Clinical Reference Dosimetry of High-Energy Photon and Electron Beams" was published in Medical Physics in September, 1999. The protocol calls for electrometers to be appropriately calibrated by and Accredited Dosimetry Calibration Laboratory (ADCL).
K&S can provide electrometer calibration over a wide range in nano or pico Amps and in nano or pico Coulombs.
An electrometer will be calibrated independent of an ion chamber. Dosimetry systems (i.e. and ion chamber and an electrometer) are calibrated independent of each other. It is the responsibility of the equipment user to apply the ion chamber and electrometer calibration factors correctly. Please refer to our electrometer calibration form to let us know how you would like your electrometer calibrated.
